Program jest skierowany do badaczy: magistrów i doktorów, którzy zamierzają prowadzić program badawczy w polskich publicznych uczelniach akademickich, nadzorowanych przez Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego.

Wysokość stypendium wynosi 1800,00 zł miesięcznie dla stypendystów posiadających ukończone trzyletnie studia wyższe zakończone dyplomem i 2200,00 zł dla stypendystów, którzy mają ukończone pełne studia wyższe, odpowiadające polskim pięcioletnim studiom magisterskim.

Stypendia przyznawane są na podstawie złożonych wniosków na okres od 1 do 6 miesięcy. Stypendysta realizuje program badawczy pod opieką pracownika naukowego uczelni przyjmującej – UMCS. Zgoda na przyjęcie na staż i objęcie opieką naukową powinna być potwierdzona przez opiekuna stypendysty w formularzu stypendialnym.

Aby aplikować na staż w ramach UMCS należy przesłać następujące dokumenty:

• formularz stypendialny (wzór w załączniku),
• kopie dyplomów ukończenia studiów,
• dwie referencje osób, które mogą potwierdzić kwalifikacje kandydata.

Koszty zamieszkania i utrzymania ponosi stypendysta. O przyznaniu stypendium ostatecznie decyduje Polski Komitet ds. UNESCO. Po odbyciu stażu należy wypełnić raport stypendialny (wzór w załączniku).

Ważne:

*Stypendysta musi posiadać ważne ubezpieczenie zdrowotne, odpowiadające wymaganiom polskich służb konsularnych oraz celowi pobytu w Polsce, obowiązujące przez cały okres trwania stypendium. Po przyznaniu stypendium, przed wypłatą pierwszej raty stypendium, UMCS weryfikuje jego posiadanie przez stypendystę.

*Warunkiem wypłaty stypendium jest obecność stypendysty na terenie Polski. Stypendium na dany miesiąc nie zostanie wypłacone w przypadku ponad 7-dniowej nieobecności.

 *Pełna stawka miesięczna stypendium przysługuje w przypadku, gdy pobyt stypendysty wynosi 15 lub więcej dni kalendarzowych w danym miesiącu. W przypadku pobytów krótszych niż 15 dni stosuje się połowę stawki miesięcznej.

*Wypłaty środków finansowych mogą być dokonane wyłącznie osobom przebywającym na terenie RP, kształcącym się w polskich uczelniach publicznych nadzorowanych przez Ministerstwo Edukacji i Nauki. Środki finansowe nie mogą być wypłacane w przypadku pobierania przez stypendystów innych środków pomocy stypendialnej z budżetu RP.

Scholarship program of the Polish Committee for UNESCO - recruitment for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The International Cooperation Center UMCS and the Center for Eastern Europe of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University kindly inform about the possibility of applying for scholarships under the Scholarship Program of the Polish Committee for UNESCO.

The program is aimed at researchers: master's and doctoral students who intend to conduct a research program at Polish public academic universities supervised by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Applications can be submitted by university graduates from abroad (Eastern and Central-Eastern European countries and developing countries).

The amount of the scholarship is PLN 1,800.00 per month for scholarship recipients who have completed three years of higher education completed with a diploma and PLN 2,200.00 for scholarship recipients who have completed a full degree program, equivalent to a Polish five-year master's degree.

Scholarships are awarded for a period of 1 to 6 months. The scholarship holder carries out a research program under the supervision of a tutor from the host university - UMCS. Consent to the internship and to be under research supervision should be confirmed by the tutor in the scholarship form.

Interested persons are requested to send application forms:

• copies of diplomas of graduation,
• two references of people who can confirm the candidate's qualifications.

Residence and living expenses are borne by the scholarship recipient.  The final decision on the scholarship is given by the Polish Committee for UNESCO. After completing the internship, the scholarship recipient submits a scholarship report approved by the tutor (sample attached).

Important:

*The scholarship holder must have valid health insurance, corresponding to the requirements of the Polish consular services and the purpose of the stay in Poland. Health insurance need to be valid for the entire duration of the scholarship. After the scholarship is awarded, before the first paiment of the scholarship, the UMCS is obligated to verify the health insurance.

*The condition for the scholarship payment is the presence of the scholarship holder in Poland. The scholarship for a specific month will not be paid in case of absence of more than 7 days.

*The full monthly stipend rate applies if the grantee's stay is 15 or more calendar days in a given month. For stays of less than 15 days, half of the monthly rate applies.

*Funds may only be paid to persons residing in the Republic of Poland, studying at Polish public universities supervised by the Ministry of Education and Science. Funds cannot be paid if the scholarship recipients are receiving other scholarship aid from the Polish budget.
